Your responsibilities as a People & Culture Officer:
- Coordinate the day-to-day functions of the People & Culture department
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal communication materials and platforms
- Support initiatives related to employee well-being and engagement
- Coordinate and assist with the implementation of employee activities and social events
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of training materials and resources, working with other departments to build out training pieces and assist with delivery
- Assist with the recruitment process, including shortlisting, organising and participating in interviews and drafting offers
- Support the onboarding process to enhance employee experience
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR related policies and procedures
- Provide guidance and support to employees on P&C policies and procedures
- Maintain employee records ensuring best practices are met in relation to employee privacy
- Provide support in matters of industrial relations, performance management, probation reviews and other enquiries
- Offer support to the P&C Leader in matters of employee relations
- Manage uniform allocations and maintain stock
- Liaise with relevant parties and assist in the Company’s work experience, apprenticeship and trainee programs
- Assist in the streamlining and processes related to the Company’s HRIS
- Manage People & Culture records and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality
